I had to make an emergency stop at the Park Street Ice Cream Shoppe this evening, as my 3 year old demanded "purple ice-cream". Though there were no purple-hued flavors tonight, the lovely staff offered to take my customer request for future batches. I will be getting an email when Black Raspberry Chip is available. We ordered Mocha Chip and Strawberry and sat outside on their lovely patio, enjoying the view of Natick Common at dusk.      Park Street Ice Cream Shoppe has been opening its doors every summer since 1980 and is a local favorite. The ice cream is made on site and includes more than 30 flavors (I am already dreaming about Pumpkin). The menu also features breakfast and lunch options, which I have yet to try. The shoppe is cash-only and there is an ATM onsite.
